Evening before the workshop: Meeting with photographer and drinks – 7pm
Sunrise – shooting at the Molo, the part of Riva degli Schiavoni lying beside the Doge’s Palace. Here the swinging gondolas and the city lights are the perfect subjects for this shooting.
Morning – after breakfast, shooting in San Marco Square. If there’s the “acqua alta”, the tide flooding many areas of Venice in winter, you will focus your time on this amazing phenomenon.
Venice highlights (San Marco Cathedral, Bell Tower, Doge’s Palace and Biblioteca Marciana) but also small and intimate subjects, such as architectural elements, shop’s windows, building facades.
Sunset and twilight – from Riva degli Schiavoni you can take pictures of the sun setting behind the Giudecca Island and the Church of La Salute.
Night – if it’s not too cold and the weather is favourable, you could spend about one hour taking night pictures of Rialto Bridge or San Marco Square.
